It was been aired lately the Filipino actor Rudy Fernandez dies on periampullary cancer in his home in White Plains, Quezon City at 6:15 a.m. last Saturday.

The filipino actor has known on his stunts and action movies made, he also known as a tough guy even to fight this illness over a year, and now he come to an end, a new everlasting life for him together with our Great Creator.

Japanese Playboy hottie Maya Sakura teaches Gaijin some Japanese

Think sexy US pin up bikini models in Japan and you think of Leah Dizon, the Nevada girl who became a Jpop star. In the US when they think of Japanese models, they probably think of Playboy model Hiromi Oshima, and Playboy model Maya Sakura.

In this role Megumi Yasu plays a miniskirt wearing, karate chopping, temp secretary named Yutaka Kagami who faces off against various problems at the office such as the sexual harassment caused by her male co-workers and the incompetence of her boss. Megumi had taken up kickboxing to help her play the part but its her high kicks in a miniskirt that have caused a buzz on internet forums.

The memories are still fresh when I hear the name RR Enriquez. She was born into cybespace and this blog helped a lot in making that a reality. It was May 19 when TV Patrol featured her as the newest Cover Girl of Maxim for June and to make things spicier, they even sensationalized everything by broadcasting that RR Enriquez had indeed posed topless in a local feeds calendar.


If you have watched the TV Patrol last night, May 19 in the Showbiz segment of Phoemela Barranda, it was mentioned that RR Enriquez will be featured as the cover for Maxim Philippines June Edition.

Fans of older gravure idol, 33 year old Yuka Sawachi ( Yuuka Sawachi) 沢地優佳 さわち ゆうか will be disappointed that she hasn’t released an bikini DVD in over a year. She did however recently appear in her first movie Ike! Rainbow Kamen Tai Homeless Kaijin Gundan 行け! レインボー仮面対ホームレス怪人軍団 a movie with Ultraman Tiga ウルトラマンティガ, (from the Rainbow kamen theatre version) co starring with Fumina Hara, Atsuko Ookura and Otaki Aikitoshi.

Sakura Mizutani 水谷さくら is a pretty 25 year old race queen and gravure idol from Hyogo prefecture who since 1991 has done 9 DVD’s and 4 photo books. From 2005, she has focused on being mostly a race queen supporting the A&S Racing team and her last DVD was released last December Super Race Queen Premium 2007. Young girls Jpop group AKB48 appeared on a Japanese TV variety show where they played games and sang Bingo, their 6th single from July last year. This was the first AKB48 single to feature girls from all three teams (A, B and K teams). BINGO was used as the opening theme to the TBS anime Fight Tension☆School

Jackie Chan - is planning to make a Film ???

Movie action man Jackie Chan is planning to make a film about last week’s devastating Chinese earthquake, which left almost 60,000 dead and more than five million homeless.
The 7.9-magnitude quake stunned the world and now Chan wants to do everything he can to help the shellshocked survivors - and that involves making a film about their plight.

The Rush Hour star, who is an icon in China, is planning a meeting with the country’s leading studio bosses and film financiers to discuss his movie plans.

He says, “There are so many touching stories (and) through this movie, we will be able to show the whole world what happened. This will also be another way to raise money.”

Chan also plans to raise money through benefits for the victims and their families.

He tells America’s People magazine, “I can spend six years doing a movie, but I can plan an event in 72 hours. An event we’re doing on June 1 in Hong Kong will include more than 100 artists from Asia.”

Chan has already visited hospitals, schools and the ruins of streets of houses in the areas worst hit by the earthquake, and he has already donated more than GBP500,000 to the relief effort.

Asami Abe , Japanese singer and actress

Asami Abe (安倍 麻美, Abe Asami?, born February 27, 1985 in Muroran, Hokkaidō, Japan) is a Japanese singer and actress, also known as the younger sister of J-pop idol Natsumi Abe. She started her career doing commercials for Nintendo Puzzle Collection, and she has also appeared in a few TV dramas.

Rachelle Ann Go Biography !!!

Basic Information

Rachelle Ann Go (born August 31, 1986), she rose to prominence after winning the second season of the reality show Star For A Night renamed as Search For A Star, hosted by recording artist Regine Velasquez. She has since gone to have established a very successful recording career and is hailed as The Ultimate Champion.

Early life and career

Rachelle was born in Manila, Philippines and is of Chinese descent. Fondly called Shin or Shin-Shin by her friends, Rachelle’s interest in singing started at a very young age. Her father predicted even before she turned a year old that she was destined to be a singer. As a child, she showed signs of having a flair and passion for music. When she turned six, she underwent vocal training and lessons and, by the time she was nine, she participated in her very first amateur singing competition and won the first prize, belting out Jennifer Holliday’s “And I Am Telling You,” in spite of being the youngest contender.

She became a veteran of singing competitions and has consistently won several contests. Her television debut on “Eat Bulaga!,” a hit noon-time variety show, happened when she was just eleven. She competed in the show’s contest “Birit Baby” where young aspirants belt out vocally challenging songs. She ended up receiving the runner-up award but was highly praised for her take on a Céline Dion classic, “All By Myself”.

In 2003, along with a thousand hopefuls, Rachelle auditioned for the second season of the Philippines’ leading talent search, Search for a Star. Rachelle breezed through the preliminary rounds and found herself among the top twelve contenders vying for the coveted recording prize during the finale. On March 13, 2004 Rachelle was announced as the second grand champion, following Sarah Geronimo, singing her rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Through the Rain”.

Several weeks from winning, she collaborated with Philippine rap group Salbakuta for a cover of the Laura Branigan 1980s hit Gloria; she then released it as a CD single.

In July 2004, Rachelle released her self-titled debut album with the singles “Love Of My Life” and a remake of “Don’t Cry Out Loud”. It also includes her own cover version of Selena’s “Dreaming of You”. She was then part of the Night Of The Champions U.S. Tour opposite Sarah Geronimo and Erik Santos. She then released a duet with Christian Bautista entitled “You And Me (We Wanted It All)”. She is also a talent of VIVA Entertainment Group and is part of ABS-CBN, The Kapamilya Network’. She was involved in variety shows such as ASAP and ASAP Fanatic.

During November 2004, Rachelle represented the Philippines in the Shanghai Music Festival where she won the silver prize and the Best Song award for her LP album track “From The Start”, which she later released as a single. In 2005, she was named the Most Promising Female Singer by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, a prestigious award giving body recongnizing the year’s best. On April 29 2005, she earned top-billing on her very first major solo concert hailed as Rachelle Ann Go, The Ultimate Champion. Rachelle delivered an exceptional performance and the concert has received massive accolades and rave reviews.

It was Rachelle’s breakaway feat from just being part of the Champions Circle. In here she instituted her mark as a solo recording and performing artist. One of the most notable points of the show was Rachelle’s take on Regine Velasquez’s R2K Concert airborne act, where she was suspended in mid-air as she opened her show. Later that summer Rachelle reunited with her fellow champions for what was to be their last ensemble concert performance to date. The show entitled Pinoy Idols: Return Of The Champions is a series of shows in the United States. The two-month tour featured Rachelle with contemporaries Sarah Geronimo, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Frenchie Dy and other winners of reality singing competitions.

On November 2005, Rachelle released her second album I Care under VIVA Records. She currently hosts the second season of the reality show Search For The Star In A million alongside her fellow champs Erik Santos, Sheryn Regis, and Mark Bautista.

Personal life and controversies

Rachelle created a big buzz when she underwent plastic surgery for her I Care album. Rachelle’s win has thrusted her into the life of a public persona almost instantly. Fame has somewhat kept her from leading a private life. Rachelle had her shares of controversies and rumors like many other artists.

She has been strongly chastised by critics for her inability to make a name for herself. Her frequent mimicry of artists like Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Regine Velasquez in her singing style was prevalent early in her start as a singing champion. She was panned as another product of the cliché pop-idol machinery and who would ultimately dissolve from the industry. But Rachelle and her management were on the verge of building up an invincible career for her.

She was placed on regular stints on TV shows as host, singer, and actress, joined fellow champions for concerts and tours in the Philippines and abroad and finally, establish her mark as a solo artist via her albums and concerts. This strategy in due course has worked very well for Rachelle. In no time, she was a household name and a recognizable artist among fans and critics alike.

Her sometimes sly and provocative image separates her from the stereotype teeny-bopper pop star. It was very evident that Rachelle was a diva on the rise both in style and voice. Rachelle has also been pitted against Sarah Geronimo, who during her start has already achieved phenomenal success in singing, movies, television and commercial endorsements. She had a tough act to follow, yet she managed to carve a totally different, yet all-the-while equally successful path as Geronimo did, proof that Rachelle had broken away from the shadows of her predecessor.

Both singers remained good friends and have created a lasting friendship. Her personal life was also a feast for many writers and press people. Rachelle was linked to several male celebrities of her generation and was rumored to be sharing close relationships with them. But she denied any truth of going out with artists like Mark Bautista, Erik Santos Jed Madela, Luis Manzano, and John Prats. But Rachelle has publicly admitted that she shares a very close relationship to fellow singer and balladeer Christian Bautista whom she constantly and exclusively dates.

Even though both singers have denied any truth to the gossip that both of them are already committed to each other, they stated that were on the path of getting to know one another. Finally, after courting her for about 2 years, Christian and Rachelle appeared on The Buzz to clear the issues between them, and admitted that they are officially a couple as boyfriend and girlfriend. She also finally stated, on national television (also worldwide via TFC), “I love you” to Christian. Christian is Rachelle Ann’s first boyfriend.

Rachelle Ann Go has also admitted in a noon-time showbiz show The Buzz that she underwent rhinoplasty to enhance her image for her second album, “I Care”.

Hatachi no Koibito stars Sanma and Masami Nagasawa

If you’re a fan of Osaka comedian Sanma Akashiya, he plays a serious role in TBS drama Hatachi no Koibito ハタチの恋人 which tells the story of Inoue Keisuke, a married salaryman who at the age of 50, starts to wrestle with his purpose in life.

One night he runs into an old friend who happens to be a famous author who invites Sanma to visit him at his hotel, but when the author fails to show up Sanma spends the night by himself in the luxurious hotel room.

By chance, he encounters Sawada Yuri, a 20 year old young aspiring author (played by Japanese actress Masami Nagasawa 長 澤まさみ) who has taken a job as a hotel maid in the hopes of meeting the author but when she finds Sanma in his room, she mistakes him for the author and asks for his advice.

Sanma continues meeting her and giving her advice and although he wants to tell her the truth he has trouble doing so since she resembles his ex girlfriend from many years long ago. You probably would too if you had a cute Japanese girlfriend who looks like Masami Nagasawa!

I've seen lots of TV ad before, but I never give them a review and prioritized than my Filipina column.

Well, I can say that Coca Cola commercial enchant me and blow my imagination into sprinkles of happiness every time I see this Coke Angel TV ad. Undeniably, a reason to buy bottle of Coke and made this post away from my Filipina topic.

Concise story about the whole commercial;

An Angel gets curious on the certain things that humans are drinking, and then she decides to go down to earth and decide to become mortal and later noticed that she’s was not the only who enticed by Coke.
What about the Angel?

Searching for an Angel is not an easy a task on production staff, good thing that they find it on personal character of Brazilian model Michelle Dantes, stunning yet angelic, but most of all a joyful being.

Born on August 25, 1987, Lui Yi Fei ( her birthname was An Feng ) spent her childhood mostly in Wuhan, China.
